FabricHub ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it across our B2B fabric marketplace platform.
1. Information We Collect
Account & Profile Information
When you register as a buyer, supplier, or designer on FabricHub, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, GST number, and shipping/billing address.
Transaction Data
We collect details of purchases, sample requests, orders, and payment information (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store full card numbers).
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, search queries, filters applied, and time spent on listings.
Communications
If you contact us via email, WhatsApp, or our contact form, we retain those communications to respond to your queries and improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Process and fulfill orders, sample requests, and payments
- Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery notifications
- Verify supplier and designer credentials and manage onboarding
- Personalise fabric recommendations and search results
- Send promotional offers, newsletters, and platform updates (you may opt out at any time)
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access
- Comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations, including GST requirements
- Improve our platform through analytics and user feedback
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with servers located in secure data centres. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. While we take every reasonable precaution, no system is completely immune to security risks. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to log out of shared devices.
6. Your Rights
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention obligations
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email
- Grievance — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (details below)

7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required under Indian accounting and GST regulations. You may request deletion of non-mandatory data at any time.
8. Children's Privacy
FabricHub is a B2B platform intended for business use by adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
9. Third-Party Links
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites, supplier storefronts, or external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies independently.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify registered users via email and display a notice on the platform at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of FabricHub after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
