Shipping Policy

This policy covers how orders and sample requests are shipped through FabricHub, including processing times, delivery timelines, tracking, and how we handle damaged or lost shipments.
1. Overview
FabricHub is a B2B fabric marketplace connecting buyers with verified suppliers across India. Shipping is fulfilled directly by the supplier unless otherwise stated. This policy outlines standard shipping timelines, responsibilities, and procedures applicable to all orders and sample requests placed through the platform.
2. Order Processing Time
Standard Orders
Suppliers typically process and dispatch orders within 2โ5 business days of payment confirmation. Processing time may vary depending on fabric availability, order quantity, and the supplier's current workload.
Sample Requests
Sample requests are generally dispatched within 3โ7 business days. Some suppliers may require additional time for custom swatches or dye-lot matching.
Bulk & Custom Orders
Bulk orders (above 500 metres) or custom-dyed/printed fabrics may require 7โ21 business days for processing before dispatch. Estimated timelines will be confirmed by the supplier at the time of order acceptance.
3. Delivery Timelines
Domestic (Within India)
Standard delivery within India typically takes 3โ7 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination city and courier partner. Metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata) generally receive shipments within 3โ4 business days.
Remote & Tier-3 Locations
Deliveries to remote areas, hill stations, or Tier-3 cities may take 7โ14 business days. Additional handling charges may apply for certain pin codes.
International Shipping
FabricHub currently supports domestic shipping within India. International shipping is available on a case-by-case basis through select verified suppliers. Please contact us at hello@fabrichub.com to enquire about international orders.
4. Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on order weight, dimensions, and delivery location
- Orders above โน5,000 may qualify for free shipping from participating suppliers โ this will be indicated on the product listing
- Sample requests carry a flat shipping fee of โน99โโน199 depending on the supplier and destination
- Bulk orders may be eligible for negotiated freight rates โ contact the supplier directly via the platform
- Any applicable GST on shipping charges will be shown separately at checkout
5. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number and courier partner details. You can track your shipment directly from your Buyer Dashboard under "My Orders". Real-time tracking updates are available for shipments via our integrated courier partners. For orders shipped via local or regional couriers, tracking may be limited to dispatch confirmation and estimated delivery date.
6. Courier Partners
FabricHub works with a network of trusted logistics partners including Delhivery, BlueDart, DTDC, Ekart, and India Post for domestic shipments. The choice of courier is at the supplier's discretion unless a specific courier is requested and agreed upon at the time of order. FabricHub is not liable for delays caused by the courier partner, natural disasters, strikes, or other force majeure events.
7. Damaged or Lost Shipments
Damaged Goods
If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and fabric immediately upon receipt and raise a dispute within 48 hours via your Buyer Dashboard or by emailing support@fabrichub.com. We will coordinate with the supplier and courier to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement or refund.
Lost in Transit
If your shipment has not arrived within 5 business days of the estimated delivery date, please contact us at support@fabrichub.com with your order ID. We will initiate a trace with the courier partner. If the shipment is confirmed lost, a replacement or full refund will be arranged.
Incorrect Items
If you receive incorrect fabric (wrong colour, weight, or material), please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a return pickup and dispatch the correct order at no additional cost.
8. Returns & Exchanges
- Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for unused, uncut fabric in original packaging
- Custom-dyed, printed, or cut-to-order fabrics are non-returnable unless defective
- Sample swatches are non-refundable
- To initiate a return, raise a request from your Buyer Dashboard or email support@fabrichub.com with your order ID and reason
- Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer unless the return is due to a supplier error or defective goods
- Refunds are processed within 7โ10 business days after the returned goods are received and inspected by the supplier
9. Delivery Address
Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate at the time of placing an order. FabricHub and its suppliers are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. Address changes after order confirmation may not always be possible โ contact us immediately at support@fabrichub.com if you need to update your delivery address.
10. Supplier Responsibility
Each supplier on FabricHub is responsible for packaging, dispatch, and ensuring goods are shipped in good condition. Suppliers are required to provide valid tracking information within 24 hours of dispatch. FabricHub monitors supplier shipping performance and may suspend suppliers who consistently fail to meet dispatch timelines or quality standards.
